July is winding down and for many here in the U.S., it’s time to start thinking about kids going back to school. So what better time for volunteer coordinators to be thinking about engaging with youth volunteers?

For some organizations and volunteer coordinators, engaging with younger volunteers can be a challenge. Just like any group, they have their own perspectives and motivations. But unlike most any group, there are, of course, special considerations you should keep in mind when working with kids.
