Global State-of-the-Industry Survey for Volunteer-Driven Nonprofits

Knoxville, TN, January 26, 2023: The results for the 8th annual Volunteer Management Progress Report are now published and available for free download.

This annual report, produced by VolunteerPro, is the largest crowdsourcing of data for volunteer administration in the world and seeks to give nonprofit organizations the tools to compare their progress and improve their community engagement practices.

Over 1,400 volunteer managers from 36 countries participated in this year’s survey, now in its eighth year.

“As we rebound from the immense impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic on volunteer-driven organizations, and struggle with the current economic uncertainty, this report shows we have cause to be optimistic,” said Tobi Johnson, Founder and CEO of VolunteerPro. “While the results highlight some persistent challenges that continue to plague the sector, overall volunteer numbers are up, as well as volunteer hours.
