Need some help on figuring out our relevant sample size for an ongoing exit survey. We send the exit survey out monthly to our volunteers inactivated within the past month. The sample size for the 1st month would follow the sample size chart provided. This year I made individual monthly surveys and the response rate is poor. In 2019, I plan to keep the 1 exit survey open and send new monthly inactive list the same survey each month. The data will be aggregated as the months go by. Do I use the monthly figure for the sample size or the aggregate(total # vols inactivated vs total responded)? I’m hoping if I keep it open as one survey, I will hit that magic number of 1200 within 6 months. Hope this makes sense. Not sure if I’m asking a question or looking for your advice?
